Not every hero wears a cape! Every donation, big or small, makes a difference in the life of a recipient and his or her family.
You can make a one-off donation or a monthly gift to the Foundation.
Several types of planned gifts are available to you. Bequests, publicly traded shares and life insurance policies
You can plan a gift to be made to the Foundation upon your death. But to do so, you need to plan now!
This type of planned gift allows you to make a gift of publicly traded shares, bonds, mutual fund units or employee share ownership plan units. When you make a gift of shares, you don’t have to pay capital gains tax. You also get a receipt for the fair market value, and the satisfaction of seeing the gift put to immediate use.
You can plan a gift to be made to the Foundation upon your death. But to do so, you need to plan now!
A gift by will confers tax advantages that can substantially reduce the tax burden of your estate. By leaving a bequest to the Foundation upon your death, you can support a cause close to your heart while saving on taxes.
An in memoriam donation is made in tribute to someone who has passed away. It celebrates a loved one and allows you to express your condolences to their family by supporting a cause close to their heart.
Ultimately, your donation also helps fund Héma-Québec’s promising projects to ensure a healthy future for as many recipients as possible.
